About Me

Ambitious and determined

I'm a graduate of a Master Degree in Computer Engineering with work experience in C#.NET, C++.NET, ASP.NET, Silverlight and XSL in a solution based on the Sitecore ASP.NET web Content Management System (CMS) for the Fédération Internationale de Football Association (FIFA). I am also the main developer of the Android-iOS apps EDAM (Earthquakes Damage Assessments Manager) and ParkAdvisor developed as a visiting student researcher by the Pacific Earthquake Engineering Research Center (PEER) department of the UC Berkeley. It's almost 2 years now that I live in California and computing is not only my profession, but my passion. I enjoy both the challenges and creativity it provides.

    Manager of Software Development - February 2016 until now

    I worked in San Francisco, California for the C++, iOS Swift and web-based versions of a platform called Safehub. The purpose of this platform is to collect and elaborate earthquakes’ data in order to improve the community resilience and to optimize the collaboration between residents and insurance companies. I developed the entire prototype of the device by writing a C++ software that is running in a Raspberry PI, the MySQL back-end, the website and the iOS app to view/analyze the data

    Maintenance and development of the website www.fifa.com. The structure of this website involves the creation of static pages, whose dynamic structure is managed through CMS.     This company is a software house. I worked as SW developer of business applications related to surveillance and management. Thanks to this experience, now I have advanced skills about Windows applications development with the .NET framework and on the interaction with coworkers and customers. In fact I've worked in a team of 10 people in order to improve a software called SCS – Supervision and Control Software, working on video codec, UI-improvements, DB improvements (SQL Server 2008), extensions, bug fixing, integration of new camera models, memory manage analysis, performance analysis, help desk and direct contact with customers. I've also worked for a year on a business SW made with .NET Silverlight (G.E.S.A.T.), Windows driver approval from Microsoft and a cash validator

I worked here as analyst for the final project of my Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering, to contribute to the creation of an internal Extended Enterprise Resource Programming with open source technologies.
